What it is
Notion is a flexible workspace that blends notes, documents, wikis, databases, and light project management. For verified nonprofits it offers 50% off the Plus plan, applied automatically once you are approved.
The catch
Two limits keep this from being an easy green. First, the discount applies only to the Plus plan, not the more capable Business plan (Notion says it is working to expand it). Second, and more importantly, your workspace must already be on a paid Plus plan to receive the discount - if you are on the free plan, you have to upgrade to Plus first and then apply. If you pay full price for Plus before your approval lands, you can email Notion support for a refund of the difference.
How eligibility is verified
Notion verifies applications in-house, using the documents you supply and public databases; there is no TechSoup or Goodstack token involved. You apply with your Workspace ID (Settings, then General), verification takes roughly 3 to 7 business days, and the discount is then applied automatically to up to three workspaces.
The honest take
For a nonprofit already paying for Notion Plus, halving that bill is a straightforward win. But because the free plan is already generous and the discount does not touch the Business plan, many small teams will not benefit, which is why it lands amber rather than green. Claim it if you are already a Plus customer; otherwise weigh whether you need Plus at all first. We have no affiliate relationship with Notion; the link above is a plain link to their site.
